Watch new icebergs calve off the descending glacier-tongue beside you, during a breathtaking cruise amongst floating icebergs on a deep glacial lagoon. The icebergs break off enormous ice-lobes, advancing down deep valleys from the Vatnajokull ice cap, which, with its 8.200 sq. km. is larger than the rest of Europe´s glaciers combined. Duration of the cruise is about 45 minutes. After the cruise we take with us a part of 1200 years old glacier smash it into ice cubes and you can put it in your drink and see that the ice cubes hardly melt.
